Description
The optional Protective Sleeve is a Braided Vinyl tubing with a 1/8″ or .125″ wall thickness.
It slides over the exposed area of the Fiber Glass Rod to protect the fiberglass from being hit on rocks or side rails of a boat.
To help protect the Fiber Glass from being damaged which can lead to fiber glass splinters or fibers being broken.
NOT all SIZE handles need the Protection Sleeve. Most Handles come with two 15″ Foam grips. Handles under 34″ lengths get just one 15″ foam Grip.
Please note that in the photos, a color has been added under the sleeve only so one may better see how the Protective sleeve looks and where it goes.
